1. Creating Your SillyHost Account
Getting started with SillyHost takes just a few seconds. Here is how to create your account and start building.
Visit the registration page
Head to /register and fill in your details -- name, email address, and a strong password.
Verify your email
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link. This usually arrives within a few seconds.
Log in to your dashboard
Once verified, log in at /login. You will be taken straight to your dashboard where you can manage everything.
Tip: Use a strong, unique password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
2. Navigating the Dashboard
Your SillyHost dashboard is the central hub for managing all your services. Here is what you will find:

3. Your First Domain Registration
A domain name is your website's address on the internet (for example, yoursite.co.uk). Here is how to get one:
Search for your domain
Go to Domain Search and type in the name you want. We will show you which extensions are available.
Choose your domain
Select from popular extensions like .co.uk, .com, .uk, .org, and many more. Prices vary by extension.
Complete your purchase
Add the domain to your basket, proceed to checkout, and pay using your preferred payment method. Your domain is registered instantly.
Info: Domain registration periods are typically 1 year. You can enable auto-renewal in your dashboard so you never lose your domain.
4. Setting Up Hosting
Hosting is where your website files live. To get your website online, you need both a domain and a hosting plan.
Choose a hosting plan
Visit our pricing page and select the plan that best fits your needs. Our Starter plan is perfect for a single website.
Link your domain
During setup, select the domain you want to use. If you registered it with us, the DNS is configured automatically.
Access your control panel
Once your hosting is active, you can log into DirectAdmin from your dashboard to manage files, databases, email accounts, and more.
Tip: All hosting plans include a free SSL certificate via Let's Encrypt. Your site will be secure from day one.
5. Building Your First Website
