Publishing Your AI Built Site
Once you have generated and edited your website to your satisfaction, it is time to publish it so the world can see it. This guide walks you through the publishing process.
Before You Publish
Take a moment to run through this checklist before making your site live:
- Review all pages – Check every page for accuracy and completeness.
- Test on mobile – Use the preview mode to check how your site looks on different screen sizes.
- Check links – Make sure all navigation links and buttons point to the correct pages.
- Review contact info – Verify your phone number, email, and address are correct.
- Check images – Ensure all images are loading properly and look professional.
Publishing Steps
- In the AI Site Builder editor, click the Publish button in the top right corner.
- Select the domain or subdomain where you want to publish your site.
- Choose whether to publish to the root directory or a subdirectory.
- Click Publish Now to deploy your site.
DNS and Propagation
If you are using a new domain, it may take up to 24 to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate worldwide. During this time, some visitors may not be able to access your site. Domains already pointed to SillyHost will be available almost immediately.
SSL Certificate
All published sites automatically receive a free SSL certificate which encrypts the connection between your site and its visitors. The SSL is provisioned automatically and your site will be accessible via https://.
Making Updates After Publishing
You can continue editing your site after it is published. Simply make your changes in the editor and click Publish again to push the updates live. Changes typically appear within seconds.
