Editing Your AI Generated Website
After the AI generates your website, you have full control to edit and customise every element. The built-in visual editor makes it easy to refine your site without any coding knowledge.
Accessing the Editor
- Open the AI Site Builder from your SillyHost dashboard.
- Select the website you want to edit from your projects list.
- Click Edit Site to open the visual editor.
Editing Text Content
Click on any text element to edit it directly. You can change headings, paragraphs, button labels, and link text. The editor supports bold, italic, lists, and links. Simply highlight text and use the formatting toolbar that appears.
Changing Images
Click on any image to replace it. You can upload your own images or choose from the built-in stock photo library. For best results, use images that are at least 1200 pixels wide for hero sections and 800 pixels wide for content images.
Rearranging Sections
Each page is made up of sections that can be reordered. Hover over a section to reveal the move handle, then drag it to a new position. You can also delete sections you do not need or add new ones from the section library.
Adding New Sections
Click the Add Section button between any two existing sections. Browse the section library for options including:
- Hero banners and call-to-action blocks
- Feature grids and service listings
- Testimonial carousels
- Image galleries and video embeds
- Contact forms and maps
- FAQ accordions and pricing tables
Saving Your Changes
Changes are saved automatically as you edit. Click Preview to see how your site looks to visitors, and click Publish when you are ready to push your changes live.
